You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.
Let's not turn our backs on our Heavenly Father to befriend the world. The world, though it seems fun and adventurous, will only lead to destruction. In the kingdom of God there is pleasure forevermore, joy, peace, love, and so much more.

Don't forget to speak over yourself and encourage yourself in the Lord today... and while you're at it give Him some glory, honor, and praise. We were created to worship Him.
Here's a passage of scripture to remind you of the power that praying and worshipping the Lord produces... the very foundation of your problem/issue will be shaken.
25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.

Galatians 1 in its entirety is so good. Apostle Paul explains to the people of Galatia his authority. In a nutshell he let them know that He was authorized to preach and teach the gospel because God Himself chose Him by the blood of Jesus Christ- not man.
Although the entire chapter blessed my soul, my favorite part is verses 10-12,
10 Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
11 I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin.
12 I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.

Pleasing man takes us out of the faith arena and immediately puts us into the fear platform.

Today has been a day of reflection. I have been thinking on how blessed I am to have Jesus in my heart. He has saved me over and over again. He gave His life so that I may have life and have it more abundantly. He was brutally wounded for my transgressions, He was bruised for my iniquities: the chastisement of my peace was upon Him; and with His stripes and I am healed.
I'm so glad that He lives! Without Him I would be like a ship without a sail. Lost, being tossed here, there, and everywhere...with no direction or correction.
He died for me and I owe Him my whole life. Outside of Him there is no life. He declared in scripture,
"I am the way, the truth, and the life."
Amen David had to encourage himself in the Lord!!! Glory to God
