Proverbs 13:11 (AMP)

Wealth obtained by fraud dwindles, but he who gathers gradually by [honest] labor will increase [his riches].

Often, we want lots of money and we want it fast! When someone wants something fast often times they will compromise their morals, betray others, and or turn to criminal activities.

God's Word is true. We don't have to do anything illegal or morally corrupt to gain wealth. Becoming wealthy according to scripture is not a fast process; it's a gradual process. This tells me that we need patience to become wealthy. The Bible says that honest labor will increase our riches. If you gain wealth by any other means, it will not last. There is a saying "Easy come, easy go."

Think on this today.

Today I felt a way... imagine being surrounded by enemies and being held to a standard of righteousness. It's not always easy when you are held to a standard of peace and righteousness when your flesh wants to rise up and respond. My flesh and my spirit were at war...big time!

But the name of the Lord is a strong tower!!!

One thing I know is that the Lord will avenge you in your day of adversity! He will give you peace in the midst of every storm if you allow Him. He is faithful and He is good. His word was a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path today and it will be forever.

2 Thessalonians 3:13

I know you may not see the answer right now or the results that you desire to see, but please don't give up. I want to encourage you that help is on the way. Keep doing what's right. Continue to do what is pleasing in the eyes of God even when it hurts. Wait patiently on the Lord and He will bring you to an expected end.

The Bible says that those that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Be patient and eventually change and good results will come.

Be encouraged and know that the Lord Almighty sees and knows all things! If He dresses the lilies with beauty and splendor how much more will he clothe you? If He watches over every sparrow how much more does he love, you?

Colossians 3:5
