Apostle Paul Said It Best...
Galatians 1 in its entirety is so good. Apostle Paul explains to the people of Galatia his authority. In a nutshell he let them know that He was authorized to preach and teach the gospel because God Himself chose Him by the blood of Jesus Christ- not man.
Although the entire chapter blessed my soul, my favorite part is verses 10-12,
10 Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
11 I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin.
12 I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.
Stop trying to please people and/or get approval from people. There is no way we can please people and be sold out to Jesus. We were bought with a price, and we cannot serve two masters.
Whose report will you believe? I believe the report of the Lord! He chose me before the foundation of the earth was laid.
